Disadvantages of the Explorer Pass
The Dubai Explorer Pass is an attractive product, but not free of flaws. The following arguments tend to speak against buying the Explorer Pass. Every traveler has to decide for himself how heavy these criteria weigh.
No priority admission: For most attractions, there is no fast track access with the Explorer Pass. However, this disadvantage exists with other Dubai Passes as well. For some attractions you will get a time slot ticket if you book your visit in time.
Very expensive: The Explorer Pass includes many expensive attractions. This makes this Dubai Pass very expensive. Even if you visit only three attractions, you have to invest more than $200 per person.
Often not worth it: Savings are only possible if you use services that cost $60 - $70 or more. For all other attractions the Explorer Pass is not worth it.
Missing attractions: A few attractions are not covered by Explorer Pass. These include The View at the Palm, Dubai Fountain and La Perle by Dragone.
Reservation required: For many attractions you have to make a reservation yourself. This concerns some attractions, guided tours and excursions. Carefully read the information about reservations on the official website GoCity.com.
